Profissão: Technology Consultant

I had a different expectation for this journey. I thought it would bring me more peace and comfort, but instead, right at the beginning, it brought me COMPLETE AND TOTAL CHAOS, and with that came learning. It reminded me of a line from a character played by Morgan Freeman in a movie, when he asks: “If you ask God for faith, do you expect Him to simply give you faith, or to place events in your path so you can learn to have faith?”

And that is exactly what happened to me. Many times, I asked God to help me find myself again, to bring me well-being, to quiet my thoughts, and that’s how I ended up at the retreat.

Today I leave with a work begun, the first step taken. The chaos is still here, but I understand its necessity for my learning and evolution.

My advice, if I may: take this journey, and don’t let anything convince you to give up, because in the end, you’ll see that it was truly worth it.
